Scope and Contents
This subseries consists of Emshwiller’s hand and typewritten notes, timing and cue sheets, storyboards, schematics, art site installation specifications, film stills, slides, and negatives as well as project proposals and drafts, including some that were never realized. It also contains correspondence between Emshwiller and various funding agencies and presenters, grant applications, contracts, travel documents, memorandums, invoices, work orders, receipts, press releases, and clippings as well as fliers and programs for film, video and dance events. The subseries also includes a handwritten musical score by composer Roger Reynolds for Emshwiller’s film, "Eclipse," a transcription for the film, "Image, Flesh and Voice," and two 3M diskettes - one for "Hungers" and the other for "Skin Matrix."
